Title: Creamy Cabbage

Yield: 4 Servings

4cShredded cabbage
1/2cDiced bacon
1tbFlour
1/2tsSalt
1/4tsPaprika
1/8tsPepper
1cMilk
1cSoft bread crumbs

In a large saucepan, cook cabbage for 7 minutes in boiling water. Drain. In a skillet, cook bacon. Remove bacon and all but 1 tb drippings. Add flour, salt, paprika and pepper to drippings. Gradually add milk. Simmer and stir until thickened. Place cabbage in a 1 quart casserole. Top with sauce. Sprinkle bread crumbs and bacon over the top. Bake at 400øF for 15 minutes.
